fFit's management services are focused on projects for small businesses and non-profits in a variety of industries. fFit also provides primarily remote managemnt services for individuals.
Does fFit use Agile, Waterfall, or custom methods?
fFit's recognizes that one method is not appropriate for every situation so fFit customizes its approach to the tasks at hand. We know when to use a more flexible (agile) methodology or a more sequential (waterfall) methodology. fFit takes the time to get to know the client/partner and tailor the approach to their way of working.
Can fFit jump into a project that is already underway?
Of course! There are various reasons why we may step into a project that is already underway, but we still provide our management services the fFit way. This means we are still committed to starting the way we always do, by getting a detailed understanding of the goals and requirements.
What is the difference between hiring fFit and an in-house manager?
Because fFit is focused on providing management services at the small business, non-profit, and individual level the client/partner gets the benefit of skilled management support without the high cost of employing a management professional directly. Your project will be managed by a certified project management professional with at least 15 years of management experience.
How does fFit structure fees?
fFit offers a flexible fee structure that includes hourly rates, fixed price project fees, and monthly retainers.
How often will I get status updates?
In our early discussions we will establish a cadence for communicating updates. This can be revised at any time as needed. We want you to be well-informed on your project progress.
Do I have to use specific software to receive fFit management services?
No. At fFit we understand that making changes to operate more efficiently and manage effectively can be a major shift. We work with the tools you currently have available to help you optimize. Whether that is specific software or traditional pen and paper, we are here to help.
